WHO WE ARE
We are Crossin’ the Gulf Ministries. We were founded by Rene’ and Barbara Henderson after the Lord instructed Rene’ in 1989 to “Take His Word to Belize.”
Crossin’ the Gulf Ministries (CTGM) first brought mission teams to Belize from 1992 to 2006. The teams ministered the truths of God’s Word in schools, businesses, prisons, government offices, hospitals and in cities, towns, and villages across the nation. We also supplied food, toys and clothing to the kids at Christmas through a project called “Project Joy”.
The teams did the same in Jamaica in 1995 and in El Salvador in 1998 and 2004, where they walked the streets and prayed for a righteous awakening among spiritual, social and civic leadership.
In 1997, Eagles’ Nest International Church was started in Tomball, Texas after The Lord told Barbara to “start a church”. The Church was created to train leadership to duplicate the assignment of CTGM with the goal of accelerating the work of “Restoring Righteousness in the Infrastructure of Nations”, honoring the Great Commission of our Lord to influence every man’s world with the realities of the Kingdom of God, doing so only in His Divine Love.
In 2006, Pastors Rene’ and Barbara received direction from the Lord to move back to their native country Belize, Central America to continue the ministry work there. Their daughter Melissa (Henderson) Mack took over the church in Tomball, Texas October of 2007 and served as our Senior Pastor with her husband, Pastor Jordan Mack, until January 2021.
In 2014, after Pastor Barbara went home to be with the Lord, the Lord put the desire in Pastors Jordan and Melissa’s hearts to move to Belize to continue the work Pastor Barbara was doing with, now, Bishop Rene’. Pastors Jordan and Melissa are now in process of moving to Belize in the fall of 2022.
